Hi All
i ordered some flowers for mothers day on 29th feb and they were to be delivered on the 1st march. they did not arrive so i gave them till the 3rd and they still did not arrive.
when i called them i was told there was a problem with the supplier and that they are sorry etc etc.
i cancelled the order and i was told that the order would be immediately cancelled and that the money would take 7 days to go back on my card and that tesco would send me something as an apology.
now it is the 10th today and my refund has not been processed and my order has not been cancelled. i just called and was told that i could not cancel the order as it was my girlfriends club card even though it was my debit card details].
the lady on the phone was very rude about this and i have been told that my girlfriend will need to call to cancel the order and that it would take a further 7 days for the money to go back on my card.
my girlfriend has just cancelled the order and she was also spoken to rudely on teh phone.
does anyone have any other experiences of this and if so what is their advice - have they complained about it or just left it alone?
thanks

Complain. And complain some more. If they have problems with their suppliers, that is for them to sort out. They should provide a refund - and courteously too.0 -
I've had Tesco flowers in the past and the service is very bad - infact the flowers were dead on arrival!!!
Rubbish customer service as well!!!
Complain!0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Had dead flowers too from Tesco this week. Seem uninterested in helping other than to give £5 off.
Customer service is dreadful.0 -
I must admit my experience is some what different to those already posted.
Back in January I ordered flowers for my mum and when they arrived I was very disappointed in the quality even though mum was pleased with them.
I telephoned Tesco and they apologised and offered to send another bunch which was accepted. However they didn't arrive and when I complained I was given an immediate refund and the lady apologised again for the poor quality of the 1st bunch and the non delivery of the 2nd.2014 Target;

I had a similar experience as mountainofdebt. I ordered flowers for mothers day to be delivered on the Friday before. When they arrived my mum said they were really bad quality and half dead so she phoned up customer services and got a big apology and they promised to send out more.
On the Monday when the replacements hadnt arrived she rang again and was told that she shouldnt have been promised replacements as they'd actually ran out of flowers at that point - as an apology the customer service rep said she'd refund my card with the full amount. The following day I received my refund and my mum received an amazing bouquet with compliments of Tesco - much bigger and better than the one I'd orginally bought her!
I'd get on the phone to them and keep complaining as it sounds like the service differs dependent on who you get on the end of the phone.0 -
Received in an email today:
Due to the sheer volume of orders we take over busy periods like Mothers Day there undoubtedly always be some customers who are not happy with the service.
So if the flowers are dead because they are busy, tough.0 -
