How to cancel a mobile contract?
Options
My 12 month free cashback deal ends mid April, how is the best way to cancel the contract with Orange by phone, email or do I have to write to them giving them 30 days notice? I will be getting another cashback deal either from OSPS or M2YD, rather than upgrading my contract with Orange. Unfortunately there are not any good deals about with Orange only O2 or Vodafone, which I have to take into account as I get free broadband.

You need to call them 30 days before, they can offer you deals to keep you as a customer, so it may be worth telling them what you want and see if they can provide it.0

If you have free orange broadband at the moment and you cancel your mobile - your broadband may still remain free0

It is free for the basic broadband package, but I took the Livebox and the free calls so I actually pay £5 a month, I don't know whether to ask them about the broadband in case they increase the monthly bill, or just wait and see what happens.0

I waited to see what happens - didn't mention the broadband - and am still paying nothing after 5 months. I'm sure they'll work it out eventually!0
