Hi,
I am writing to ask for help with a problem we are having with Red Letter Days claims department.
Last August my husband spent a day car racing, during the final race another car hit him causing him to crash and break his ankle. As a consequence he lost his bonus at work as he had been off sick. He is trying to claim through Red Letter Days, their basic insurance pay out, but is having no luck. This is because they keep pushing him from pillar to post, phone numbers for florists, numbers for people that no longer work there etc.
Basically no-one is able to send him the claim form or help him.
I have searched the net for contact details for Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis and have failed to find anything other than general contact forms then aren't certain to reach them.
Can some-one advise on our next steps please
Kind Regards
SG

Maybe Red Letter days haven't renewed with Marsh or not paid the premium and had the Policy cancelled? The man without a signature.0 -
I have emailed Red Letter Days again asking for insurance broker details and have found yet another phone number for Marsh LTD that I will try shortly.
It all feels like avoidance tactics to me, if they don't share details then they won't have to pay out.0 -

Sounds like avoidance to me too.
Have you read this part of their T&Cs?
"On the happening of any occurrence likely to give rise to a claim you give us notice in writing as soon as possible and in any event within sixty days. In no event will we be liable to pay any claim where you fail to notify us in writing within 120 days after the date of the occurrence."

Yes thankfully, they were informed within 1 week of accident happening.
So far today we have managed to get as far as Red Letter Days saying they will send out a claim form, however as we've been here before I am not holding my breath.
Apparently they now deal with claims initially and then send them to Marsh LTD.
If the form isn't here by the end of the week then it's off to Lloyds we go !
Thanks for all the help
