Someone was seen by a friend of OP being turned down for cashing a cheque. No evidence it was the cheque in question.
As in any suspected crime, people have to be questioned to obtain the proof.No one has interviewed the post office worker. You can't say a crime hasn't been committed,neither can you be sure it has until she is interviewed ,(although the circumstances that she was seen trying to cash a cheque, then took a cheque around to the OP, are a BIG CLUE.) I agree with Sarah1969-speak to a Police Officer..in fact speak to an Inspector.0 -

am going to go down monday to the local police station and talk to someone in charge and im not leaving until i do....am soo upset by this and my younger sister is taking this bad - it has opened up old wounds .....how dare someone disrespect my late mum in this way?

Good luck. I think it may be fraud or attempted fraud (I know you [EMAIL="can@t"]can't[/EMAIL] have attempted deception,as someone has to have been deceived to have deception,but I think fraud may be different)0
