Can anyone recommend a decent ringtone site please? I've spent hours browsing and only come up with ripoffs like jamster who cunningly try to get you to subscribe.
As a moneysaver Id prefer free but I'm more concerned about quality so will pay for a good one.
Thanks

Not entirely free but the price of a WAP call. I found I could download 2/3 for about 10p.

Have you got a cable for your fone, a bluetooth adapter, or an infra-red link?
If so, then you can freely download .mid (Midi files, which are polyphonic tones) from a variety of sites on the net. As well as this, you can compress and crop your music files (wma, mp3, cda etc) to mp3 and use these as mp3 'realtones'. These can then be transferred to your fone using one of the methods above.
Cables etc are widely available, and should cost about the same as 3-4 ringtones from a 'reputable' download site.I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.

What's the quality like? I found a site called www.mobile1ringtones.com which was reasonable - about USD10 got me over 10 ringtones plus the usual cost of downloading. Whilst the quality was acceptable it wasnt one of the best.

According to this site they only support Nokia phones. Do you know if it works with some other makes anyway? The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0 -

I've used this site. Just the cost of wap to download the tones. Quite a new site, that depends on people submitting tones. Not too many at the mo, but selection is slowly growing

I have found some tones don't work though0 -
I assume when you say that you have a link, that you also have infra-red on your pc/laptop? So long as you can get them from your pc to your fone, you can download just about any midi file. Try google for 'midi ringtone', or have a look at THIS SITE.Milky_Mocha wrote:Really?? I have infra-red link yes. Its a SE K700i.
