My contract is coming to an end and I am going to phone 3 to see what they can offer me.
At the moment I have a SE k800i, which I am happy with, and the 700 plan (400 texts, 250 mins etc). I had the phone free and 6 months free rental, remaining 6 months were £35 a month.
Essential features wanted on a phone:
good camera (5mp if possible) - I like the BestPic on the SE phone, music player.
Not bothered about games, video messaging etc etc.
Any suggestions about what are the best phones at the moment that I can use as a bargaining tool when I phone 3?

Sony Ericsson K850 seems like a good bet. It's pretty much an upgrade to the K800 - with 5 megapixel camera

I'm in the same dilemma to be honest. Have the k800i - been offered k850i or Nokia 6500 slide.
If I keep k800i contract will be £0 for year. Others £120 for year?
Are they far better than the k800i?0
