Actually you missed my point. It was, yet again, 1.117 when I looked. I see it's now 1.125, so maybe the consumer confidence figures are starting to have an effect?0 -

precisely
from next tuesday we will have a new base rate in EUR, most probably of 1.50pct
1mth and 3mth are still only down about 0.25pct since this time a month ago, considering we have been talking about this cut for the entire month...Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

I presume that's good news for the pound / euro rate? So hard to tell nowadays. It'll probably just come back down to 1.117 again. :sad:0 -

Everytime the euro loses a little ground and you get more for your pound someone mentions "quantative easing" ie printing more money, this dilutes the value of the pound, and back we go.......but my point in the euribor rate is that when this rate goes down and the ecb follow with a rate cut, unless someone mentions quantative easing you will get more euros for your pound.dealsearcher wrote: »I presume that's good news for the pound / euro rate?
