on forums the moderators need to be aware and protect the forum.
eg if a post is deleted then fine
if its left then depending on the server location then that dictates the laws applied
however if for example a moderator edits a post then it is deemed as being condoned by the forums owners/admin
then it gets tricky,though its a legal grey area tbh
tbh if your post was written in the same 'rantish' manner i would have been tempted to do the same

remember mods work in their own time and are not available 'on demand'

perhaps you should have a 2nd attempt at your post?

For information the post breached certain MSE rules. As a Board Guide I hid the post pending moderation by one of the dedicated team at MSE.

Once they have reviewed the post they have the ability to either reinstate it or delete it entirely.

OP, you can click on the red triangle in this post of mine and get a direct email link to abuse if you wish to question this with the Team, other than that you will need to wait until they review the post.

As a BG I can only hide a post or thread, I have no power to amend it in any way so do not have the opportunity to edit a post and leave it where it is.
