Great news about Shannon, hope she gets over it quickly.
Right off to finish DD's rooms which will only leave Living rooms over weekend plus hope to do some flinging in DS old bedroom (or shall I leave that until Easter hols when I'm off for a week). Will have Monster iron mountain to climb after collecting DS washing today as well.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
I would do the meal planning this weekend but there's not much point - I have full cupboards, fridge & freezer :rotfl: The only thing grocery wise I've bought since the 1st March is bananas, 3 pizza/garlicbread from Asda (treat for me and DD while ex was working late), hot cross buns, hamburger relish, cheese slices and some crumpets :rotfl::rotfl: Seriously, I can tell ex has moved out the food is lasting ages. :rotfl::rotfl:
Well my plan for the weekend is to meet some friends and their kids at Albert Dock tomorrow afternoon, go to the museum and then the pub:rotfl: Yes DD will be with me, but thats the whole idea - she gets to meet the kids of some of my friends so they can start hanging out together during the holidays and I can have some adult interaction other than "virtual", family, shopkeepers and public transport people
Haven't decided what else I'll do yet, but as long as I have DD packed for Wednesday night (she's going to stay with ex & his parents for a couple of days over Easter like she normally would go and stay) and I'm here for when they get back on Saturday I'm making NO PLANS at all
Hell I might even see if someone out there in my virtual friends fancies going out for a few drinks while DD is away
Hmm...off to check out the erm....company

Menu Planner done - shopping list written for tomorrow, big shop this week.
Cheese and potato bake for tea at request of DS1, yummy, not had that for ages.
Mudbath - I have a 12 hole muffin tin, think I got it from Lakeland, not sure if they still do them, I daren't shop there at the moment, I spend too much.
Vanilla - sending hugs to you, sorry, don't know what else to say. Hope you get the help and support for longer, sounds like it's needed.
Just watching Corrie, OMG, that David, are there people really like him?:mad:0 -

Mudbath - sorry , I was just looking at these myself. I did get mine a few years ago, but I was sure it was one of theirs. The Silicone ones are supposed to be very good, but i agree, they are expensive.
I had planned to make these myself over the weekend, just realised I forgot to include cases on my shop list. I am hoping to make blueberry for myself and choc chip for kids. I baked last week for the first time in ages and enjoyed it, just have a problem finding the time between work, kids, flying etc.0 -
thanks for your kind words about my son, he was given a certificate at the hospital for being so kind and his teacher phoned me tonight to say how proud she was of him. he's a real sweetie like that...can't stand people being mean to the little girl though he's very keen to tell me 'i don't love her you know', lol.
sav3r - so do you think silicon are the better ones. also, do you not use the cases with silicon ones? xx0 -
Mudbath - I have not used the silicone ones personally. I have been told they are very good, they are also apparently easier to store, they can be squashed into a storage container, and they are easier to clean.
I did see them used once on TV, they didn't use cases, so I suppose there is a saving in the long run.
I'm beginning to think I should have some of these....0
