(((vanilla))) - we're all here to talk to, anytime. I am really sorry for you all, and will be thinking of you.
Welcome to yet more newbies :hello:- my, we're awfully popular over here!!
I have been at work all day, very enjoyable. I've just checked my online diary with the agency, and the school have booked me for another week - great!!
I'm not flying today, other than washing uniforms and drying stuff. And cooking dinner. And washing up. I'll do a little bit of catching up tomorrow, and I'm hoping that the weather will be nice as I want to garden.
I'm not sure if OH will be finishing the wardrobes, as DS1 needs supervising doing his Product Design project (or he won't get it done...)
michelle - I'm sorry that you weren't feeling well, and hope that you are better today. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Good evening.
Great news about Shannon isn't it, ok it seems strange with circumstances etc and no doubt we'll hear more of what has gone on soon in the news, just great to hear she's been found alive and well.
vanilla, really don't know what to say, really hope things improve soon and you are ok
Well productive ish afternoon, got quite a bit done. I'm still not 'finished' but hey the weekend is here and I will do some more tomorrow. WOW I got a load completely dry on the line, ok maybe not completely as the jeans were a little damp but didn't need to use the TDThink I best finish the kitchen tonight however as I have started dragging out the baking/breadmaking/dried foods cupboard to sort out (because it's a mess and I don't know what is in there) and left a lot of it hanging out as dinner was ready. I can confirm moroccan beef is as nice as doing it with lamb, I think I prefered it actually, yummy!
DS1s in PJs already after an almighty meltdown which lasted over an hour, he keeps saying 'bees bees everywhere' then just making noises, he's stopped 'urring' now (seriously he sounded like a fog horn) and is a little calmer, I did try getting him to calm down in his room but he started smashing his head off his bed frame, so he's safer rocking next to me.
Next job - sit on my fat lazy bum reading emails, doing freecycle stuff, checking OU stuff, looking on ebay and anything else I can sat down. I've barely sat down all day again so am making myself sit down until 6.30pm.One day I might be more organised...........

SSL - BBC news 24 were saying the grandparents but it just seems it was a mans flat, pleased really as the poor mother has been through enough without suspecting her family as the one who did that. Just thank god they found her. And yes, like Pigpen, I had a little cry too, just the relief for finding her.
Thats some accusation for the BBC to make. Having said that, I got it wrong about the neighbour! At first it was reported that she had reported a child on their own, so more neglect than thinking it was Shannon. But apparently, the police had that address to check on their list and after talking to the neighbour, then went in. Still feeling teary and will probably cry when I watch the main news in a wee while. Big hugs to everyone xx0 -
Vanilla hugs hun, I know you have been worried you OH again for a while. At least you have some care in place right now and I hope they stay as long as you both need them.
Still smiling from ear to ear about Shannon - so good to have the news full of a 'happy' outcome. I hope she has not been through too terrible a time.
All of downstairs hoovered and sofas hoovered too.
Hard floors mopped.
Just doing tea then youth club run and little one back.
Plan to wipe round this evening so at least we start the weekend with a ship shape down here. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks everyone, this thread could get anyone through anything the support is brilliant.:A
It's great news about Shannon.:j
Right i haven't shifted my backside yet been on you tube oppppps, will get caught up once wee ones are in bed.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
