My second evening without DP, spookily nice, calm, just chilling, watching Holby which I really like and always forget to record.
It's on again tonight, I have just watched last night's at lunch time. Almost stopped it as the titles ran, good job I waited!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

What annoys me more is that I have heard that GMP are already suggesting it was something in his personal life that caused this ie it was nothing to do with work. There are only two people that can say what the issues were, horrifically one will never be able to tell anyone and the other is the Coroner at the conclusion of his enquiry.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
BLess you!! .. lol.. Right.. word of advice.. applicator tampons.. they are possible to do one handed!! and the wrong handed!!
TMI but.. if you wriggle the end into position they sort of get themselves in right.
omg you have made me laugh :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
we have found a burst pipe and three inches of water in the cavity under the house. on the plus side this could be why the heating isn't working. :rotfl:0 -
anw'smum - it must be hard to read all this about the police chief. like you say all the speculation is ridiculous and seems to be pointing at anything rather than the GMP. hugs to you xx0

hiya
(don't shout at me pigpen) i've not moved from the sofa all day. it's the first day i've really done nothing and i feel much better for it. i'll get up in a little bit and do my list. keep your fingers crossed as we're going to apply for an interest free credit card to get the heating fixed. dh has tried everything and it usually really good and stuff like that. we've not had a card for ages so hopefully we'll get one. my cat is feeling chilly as she's practically lying on the laptop.
pigpen - if you're at all worried i'd get her checked out. hope poorly child isn't too bad xx
just realised i've got PMT so that'll explain why i'm so peed off with everyone:rotfl:
Mudbath, are Quidco still doing £41 on a goldfish card? Might be worthwhile checking it out0 -

Sky news were discussing that, after saying it would be pointless and inappropriate to speculate, thats exactly what they did!! I turned over at that point  He had been leading the investigation into rendition (sp?) flights. Who knows what he'd uncovered? But its nice and easy for them to blame his personal life.0 -
Afternoon all - not had time to read all the posts so will try to catch up when I am back from the school run.
Hugs to those who need them. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Nothing to do with flying, but I just wanted to boast about my Mum. Her simnel cake and hot cross buns won prizes at the Rural (Scottish equiv of WI) last night. So through to a bigger competition this weekend. She's so shy and she's not going to go to the comp, just hand the things in. Might go and pretend I'm her :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

SSL.. massive well done to your mum!!!!!! You are very lucky.. GOOD CAKE!!! I'd be 27 stone if she was my mum!!
AnWs_mum.. it is all a bit close to home right now isn't it. Maybe you should be the one phoning the news papers and radio stations making your point about the work loads and targets being too much and though it is unfair to speculate it shows how much pressure members of our police force are! I'm quite certain you'd make a fantastic political activist!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
