Completely agree NSN, well done on the weight loss, however the chick in your signature is seriously dodgy:rotfl:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

If I was making a cake for a special tea it would turn out like a pancake. Because I just threw it together and it's just because I felt like a coffee cake, it turned out like this:0

WOW, that looks amazing! Mine never turn out like that:o The tablet i made last night we are eating with a spoon because it never set:rotfl:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Coffee, yes please, **Passes Penny a plate for some of that amazing looking cake, perlease
**sorted the roof problem
asked a neighbour who always has ladders on his roof, general builder etc, doing it now for £50....now that's better than the £350-£900 quotes we've had
Over the moon as it's another PITA sorted and done.
Kitchen spangly, bathroom spangly, desks a tip......
My BIL is a 3 (especially bleaching, he's ruined many carpets etc they have had with his bleaching, does your head ), mines a 1 (he would have sent the kids elsewhere and moved in to his Nana's if I left him alone, can't cook, wouldn't have loaded the DW etc), my Dad is a 2 (one of the rare ones who can cook, iron, sew, knit etc)....
embb, sorry I like my Hotpoint/Creda ones, only one to be better was my Indesit one. Shop around, with codes and via Quidco for cashback!!! LX direct usually do good codes and cashback on Quidco. One day I might be more organised...........

I have a Which account so had a quick look for you as to what are their best buys and here is what I read
Their best buy with 73% was a Zanussi-Electrolux ZWF14581. With a 7kg drum and AAB rating. Priced at £370 but I expect you could get this cheaper online if you shop around. If you want anymore info let me know and I will email you the rest of their best buy list.May Grocery Challenge £254.16/£3200 -

I couldn't have a 1.
So I shouldn't grumble for having a 2, but that doesn't stop me :rotfl: :rotfl:
And they have a habit of randomly and completely unexpectedly, switching between the pre-set modes.0 -
I had a Zanussi washing machine once and I vowed never to buy anything made by Zanussi again. The repair man lived in my kitchen (and he was a miserable so-and-so). I had an Indesit which lasted well and I've currently got an Ariston which hasn't let me down (so far, touch wood, fingers crossed and anything else you can think of).
GnB - your tablet may not have set but I bet it still tasted goodLike I said, if I was trying to impress the cake would have been as flat as a pancake!

JillD - I'm in on your lose weight thingy, if you want to. My birthday is also 17th May and would be fantastic if I weighed below 12 stone by then. Someone else said about a weigh day, should we do one. I was going to start WW again but I really hate paying someone £5 a week and I should have the willpower to do it myself.
Got more done last night than I thought I would and also stripped the bed and it's in the wm as we speak, should be finished I'm at work. Leaving work about 2 today so will go home first put stuff in TD, hoover upstairs and S&S Bathroom before picking dd2 up. Then home, get tea ready, pick dd1 up from school, recorder group! Home about same time as DH, have tea, clear up, S&S kitchen, bath kids, read school book (hopefully), play wii with them then they off to bed about 7.30. Sort some more papers and maybe start sorting computer, only problem is once I turn on computer I just come on here!!!!!
By the way, did anyone see GMTV this morning, they were saying something about scraping homework for primary schools. What do you all think? I agree to a point, maybe they should start intoducing it in year 6 (which I think is what they did when I was at school) so that they are ready for high school. My dd1 is the biggest pain ever to get her to do her homework. She had some maths and she also had to write a diary for the weekend. Sunday about 3pm she did half the maths and then Monday morning, before school she finished the maths and did the diary. Moaning and complaining the whole time. She is only 6 mind.
Babbled enough, need to do work. Catch up later.Need to sort my life out! :T0 -

Now I have 2 zanussi's.. and before these I had 2 other zanussi's and they are the best thing since the dogs danglies!!!
Hotpoints are the worst ever.. closely followed by Whirlpool
I wouldn't EVER have anything other than zanussi or bosch now. I probably do more washing than the average laundrette and 1 of my machines has had 2 repairs (both for blocked filter pipes) and the other had a new pump after I washed a crochet hook (oops)
Sounds like you had a rogue machine Polly!
My mother has had 2 zanussi's and my friend has had 2 and I've had 4 and none of us have ever had anything other than minor problems.
They are quiet, wash well, have a 30 minute quick wash cycle (perfect for most stuff!!) are energy efficient and above all.. are practically silent when running. One of mine has a 7.5kg load too. Both are 1600 RPM as well.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
