When I got my last freestanding cooker nobody told me to check to make sure it was level, (involves fiddling with the feet!). One of my first ventures was a Christmas cake which ended up 2" deep at one side and 3" deep at the other!

When it's all done I'll put together a web page with before and after pics.

In the meantime I need to get in behind the cooker under the worktop and paint the wall behind there with white gloss instead of the white emulsion that is there because the oven has vents at the back so having a gloss wall will make it easier to clean.

Didn't use it last night, I was very good and used up leftovers. I think I'll get a blob of failed bread dough out of the freezer ready to use as a pizza base. :)
