i need internet on my comp in spain

can anyone advise how i get internet access on my computer while i'm away in spain for a few months? i might not have access to a phoneline. any help would be appreciated. thanks

I have only just seen your question, and there are people who offer sattelite type of bband connections, but they are not cheap and limited to more ex-pat areas, and usually want a big connection fee and 12 month contract.

If you don't have a phone line, go to an internet cafe. The ones close to our house offer 15 or 30 mins for a euro, but if I go into my local shopping centre and find a telefonica/movistar internet cafe I got over an hour for 1€, you pay as you leave which means you do not lose connection half way through things either.

If you do get a landline, then maybe a 24 hour dial up for around 5€ a month is an option, I will be doing back when I go back in a month or two. I have moved my line from telefonica to one which gives cheap calls to the UK.
