    small carton of yoghurt
    2 cartons caster sugar (i use 1 & 1/2 only)
    2 cartons of s.r flour
5 oz melted marg (or use veg oil)
    2 eggs beaten

melt marg or put oil in a bowl, add rest of ingredients and mix
put in 2 x 1lb loaf tins - i use one big loaf tin - greased and lined
cook 180/190 degrees c for approx 40 mins

    delicious

This sounds perfect......except......the strawberry yoghurt's a big one, in a 450g pot. So I can't measure it in cartons. Is a small one 150g? And I've got 3 eggs in the same cup, so they are currently unseparateable. :o
Can you adjust the recipe for me please, coz otherwise I'm making Victoria Sponge but I like the sound of the yoghurt cake better...... :o
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Have you got flour and caster sugar? You can make a whisked sponge with 3 eggs, 3 ounces plain flour and 3 ounces caster sugar... let me know if you need a recipe...!

Yes, I have plain flour and caster sugar. :j

I might need this if the yoghurt cake can't be tailored to suit. ;)

i wouldn't worry about the 3 eggs - just try not to add all of it - if you've not had too many drinks!

    :hello:

I've had a few  watching the rugby (say nowt  ), and I was going to make a chocolate yoghurt cake. I cracked 3 very old eggs to see if they were dead yet, and then realised I haven't got any yoghurt (well, only strawberry :o ) and I'm much too drunk to drive to the shops.

Can someone give me a cake recipe with 3 (or 4, or 5) eggs in please, so they don't get wasted? I haven't got much in, so something simple would be best.

    Ta very much. :D

Edit: Scottish recipes not welcome, if it's all the same to you.

Extra edit: I've got no butter either, only oil. :o

Och dearie me laddie. What's up the noo? Did yer team get beat? :p

Oh Rikki...you're a star! Ok, I'm going to follow this recipe, because I have all the stuff in the right proportions.

It sounds a bit wierd though..... :rotfl:
