Gmail is currently 6.5GB.

There is no guarentee that you can use it for file storage forever either - remember it is an email system that people have managed to make into a file storage system.

There's a free version that lets you store up to 2gb a a time. I've used it for about 2 years now as I work for myself and have important files I need backing up each day.

No you can use the web to upload. I think you're limited to 50mb chunks so you'll have to rar and split stuff that is large.
