Hollieangel wrote:*shrug* To be honest, I dont care, was just a helpful warning for those who may have also seen the site and thought, "Oh no! I cant have my *insert company name* wireless internet here!
! How do I get a better package without it?"
Stop posting unhelpful rubbish!Hollieangel wrote:Right, so if the average Jow wanders onto that website, inputs the things requested and then sees that they can have only certain things on the first page it brings up and then clicks down the list to the left and sees "AOL NO", "WRIELESS NO", "WHATEVER ELSE NO", it is obviously going to make them think.
Crikey, sorry, sue me for trying to point out what I noticed to others!
To be fair, I think that "the average Jow" would have a bit more intelligence than you, and therefore learn a lot of valuable information from that website to their advantage!

Oh for goodness sake! So, I have other distractions within my house right now and so mispell a word (or probably several, as my fingers generally type rather quickly and I dont sit and proof read everything) and suddenly Im an unitelligent lout who obviously doesnt know anything about anything at all!
Laughing at people and telling them they are "posting unhelpful rubbish" is not helping either.
The quote you seem to think is rubbish actually said that it may have helped those who also saw something and THOUGHT that they couldnt get something. At the very least it would make them ask more questions.
Granted, if Id have had more time earlier I would have very perfectly, clearly and politely written out everything it told me and ask why it said I couldnt get things in my area that I had seen in use, by myself and others.
I also would have sat and read through every single deatil of the entire website listed, but as I said, I didnt have that much time then.
The world doesnt work like that though, does it? No.0 -
I moved from AOL last year after constant interruptions in service. I had to keep ringing them as I hadn't received MAC code only to find that it had been sent but it went straight into Spam as there was nothing to indicate that it was the code in the email title. It was just a girl's name so I had deleted it.
I wasn't warned what date the disconnection would take place and arrived home after a short break to find that not only did I have no internet but that all my emails and Personal Filing Cabinet had vanished. I tried for some weeks to get back my missing emails - after all I had been paying for this service up to the cut-off date but just hit a brick wall. All replies to me were standard ones that did not address the issue. I had been with them 8 years but would never go back.

*sigh* If you wish to just sit there and resort to mocking (via the very unfelp laughing emoticon) and name calling, then so be it.
The fact is, a lot of people DONT have time to sit and read everything thoroughly when they only have a limited time online to check something. A lot of people read something that says, "yes you can" or "no you cant" and then think it is true.
Usually, when they say these things, someone HELPFULLY points out their mistakes. Obviously that does not happen here and I am sorry I made that mistake. I will not make it again.0 -

I tried to but you ignored what I actually said. You mistakenly thought the wireless service it referred to meant something else. I pointed that out, and where did that get me? The response from you of "I don't care"?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
