aol!

:confused: Have not been able to connect to the internet for the last 2 days,(ok now) anyone else had a problem, rang them and there was a message saying they were experiencing tech probs, eventually got fed up and decided to spk to someone, and they have reconfiquired my router (well i think that's what happened), they also said, that they had tech probs maybe caused by a flood? or earthquake? anyway everthing ok now, just wondered about anyone else, or were they giving me a load of guff.

    Yes, I also have had problems. Have received a March news e-mail from them, but that said nothing about this! It was very frustrating.

    Thanks for posting - at least I know it wasn't just my computer!

    I have had exact same problem....was on phone for 20 mins but the chappie was very good, and obviously knew what the problem was...
    because they had migrated me on to CPW, and my router was no longer configured correctly......

    Surely they knew this was going to happen and didnt tell anyone?

    I thought it was just me, glad all is ok with everyone else who had the problem as well, by the way what is CPW, I'm not very computer savvy.

    I have been on aol for over 5 years, since the migration to CPW which I was not aware of. I have had my internet connection fail about 10 times in the last two months.

    Unfortunatly, I can't cancel the contract with aol because I signed up to the 2 year contract (free laptop).

    I am really annoyed with myself for being fooled into signing a contract with cpw, can't beleive aol have got away with selling off thier customer base like this.

    we've had problems too over the last week. getting very impatient now with them. surely it should have been sorted out by now.

    we're kind of stuck too because we dont get cable or sky broadband here. we have unlimited download with aol and there arent really any options for us at present to swap to.

    We have been haivng the same problem for the past three weeks. They sent us a new router but it still hasn;t made any difference. It is sooooooo annoying :mad: but at least I now know others have the same problem!
  • Is it really car phone warehouse or was that a joke, I've not heard anything about that, what does it all mean?
