unlock p900

can anyone help...my hubby wants to get his se p900 unlocked but he has been told if his phone is not fully charged his phone might crash!! how likely is that to happen? he is now thinking wot if it crashes anyway..... wot do you guys suggest:confused::confused:

    yes it needs to be charged up
    depending on which unlocking method is used the unlocking equipment may give a message that battery is low.
    not usually any problems if charged but any problems can usually be fixed bythe same equipment that unlocked it (ie reflash or re-unlock)
