My mobiles hardly working, put sim in other mobile and can I retrieve photos etc?

I'm in a panic, my mobiles not working properly. It started recently were some of the keypad buttons were not working, now none of them is working, meaning I can't scroll up, down, left or right
I've took out my sim card and put it into another phone. I'd lots of photos in my old phone and is there a way I can transfer them to this other phone?
I've noticed some of my contacts aren't there, I must had them saved to my old phone rather than sim but thankfully I wrote most of the numbers down.
I also noticed that alot of my messages arent there but I'm more worried about my photos and wondering is there any way I can still retrieve them?

That's brilliant! So when I transfer the data to my PC via the USB cable, can it be transferred to another mobile again? If so, would it have to be another Samsung model?

you will need to download the software from the samsung site, then you should be able to access the photos and any other data...
it would transfer everything to another samsung phone
if the new phone is another make then the photo move will be simple but any data may need to be copied by handEx forum ambassador

That's brilliant, thanks Browntoa. I was in a real panic earlier as I couldn't get into my Calender! All of the navigation buttons now on the mobile aren't working. Away to order my USB cable and thanks again for your kind help. 0
