    Oh dear.

I don't think Ted is going to thank anyone who voted for him - quite the opposite, in fact, - but if anyone deserves this award, despite his postings being at a slight tangent to all the "free beef and gravy" mentions, it's him.

Ted is a mine of information to this site, and his postings are always well considered, and accurate. They also often contain links to sources of information that I've never been able to find via a Google search.

He is also kind and considerate enough to point out other people's mistakes in a most gentle and thoughtful manner. He is a most worthy winner - and if he's reading this, I can almost feel him getting stoppy.....................

Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.
