Just thought I would give everyone a quick update, had a call from Jessops on Monday saying they were looking into my complaint and would call back in two days time. True to their word they rang me up and have agreed to sell me the camera at £229. As soon as they come into stock they will ring me up and take my order. very nice person on the end of the phone. Overall I am now very happy. Well done Jessops you have turned this around, whilst legally you did not have to.

Thanks to everyone for their info on here, it was a good debate in the end.

I notice the naysayers have gone quiet since the potentially positive resolution to this one. Must be off sympathising with Mr Grape Slip. Also makes me think Jessops did realise their mistake after all.

I'm not sure what thats suppose to mean. Can I not leave something once I've put my point of view across, do I have to come back and post daily?

Phil hasn't posted since either, what theory have you come up with about that then?
