You can get rid of some of the keywords that are used in spamming in advanced search or putting a - in front of the word you want to get rid of.

If you are looking for crocs, and you get loads of "like crocs" then in the search you put crocs -like, and this get rid of the "like crocs" which means less trawling for what you want.

Well, anyone putting 'like crocs' in the title is asking to get their listings stomped on anyway. The point is, you shouldn't *have* to take these measures.

I agree to an extent, but its a comparison. I take umbridge when it is a fake, so I would rather the person be honest and put like in it than not at all. I dont see a problem with people putting in "croc like" or "Ugg type boots". What would I put in the search for these items?

You would browse the shoe/boot section click on the options menu to bring up shoes/boots in the colour size that you want. What shouldn't happen is when you want to buy crocs you put crocs in the search bar and hundreds of listings come up with very few being for genuine crocs, it completely put me off buying them from there and I purchased 3 pairs elsewhere.
