no, which maybe why i am nervous and embarrassed. my auntie constantly makes cruel jibes and nasty remarks at me, the latest being i would break the scales at the slimming club, and "mirror mirror on the wall, whose the fattest of them all"

  I think I'd be inclined to punch her in the throat :confused:;)

or you could tell her that you feel really sorry for her that the only way she can feel OK about herself is to belittle someone else , how it's a shame her self esteem is so low

  • If that is the kind of behaviour you are used to, a slimming club is going to be a real self esteem boost for you. I get so angry at some people and their attitudes.

i hope so! it can't get any worse really!!

judderman - i have so far restrained myself!!! good idea though!

aye ''tis good going to group - I was quite self concious for a good few weeks (I'm not the most confident of peeps myself) but love it now - nice bunch of folk and it's a good laugh too - it's pretty nice on a social level :beer:

I'm just watching Frankie Boyle's DVD - funny, funny man - very, very near the knuckle and not for all , but very funny

lol that was my second thought :T:T:T:T

I love Frankie Boyle. Never used to, but Mock the Week is one of my favourite programmes and changed my attitude towards both him and Hugh Dennis.

  • My 'toxic' person was an ex-friend who was a size 8 and went on about how fat she was as she'd put on 10lbs. You knew that what she was really saying was "You gave up smoking and got fat. To put on 10lbs I had to break my leg and not be able to exercise". I gave up with her. The last straw was us two going out for my birthday and her going on about weight all night. I got home and burst into tears. It was then I realised my life would be better without her in it if she couldn't even .lay off it for my birthday

hi I was going to have M&S Honduran prawns (chilli and corriander) they are a 140 g pack and are 5 1/2 suns on green and 1/2 on red.
I was going to have them as a HEB, i was just wondering if I can still do that or do I have to count some syns. Your allowed 142g of prawns on a green day.
Im just not sure as they are in a marinade. But I know a HEB is around 6 syns anyway.
sorry if that all sounds confusing, but im hungry and cant figure it out.

    tia
