Heathrow Terminal 1 to TRAVELODGE HEATHROW TERMINAL 5

Hi folks,
I've been given some great help on another post and have booked my flights and hotel etc. My only remaining issue is getting from Heathrow Terminal 1 where we arrive to the TRAVELODGE HEATHROW TERMINAL 5. I'm hoping there is a shuttle or I could get a taxi I suppose.
Could someone perhaps give me some help on this. Is there a link to a shuttle service?
Many thanks in advance;)

Take a look at Heathrow Express' website, there is going to be a free transfer service between terminals every 15 minutes

Thanks Engadine,
This may be a possibility but with the Travelodge being the other side of the M25 after I'd get off the Express train at Terminal 5, though the Travelodge is within walking distance there doesn't seem to be walking footpaths so this would mean me getting a taxi or shuttle from Terminal 5 to the travelodge. Thanks why I was hoping for a direct shuttle from Terminal 1 to Travelodge.Take a look at Heathrow Express' website, there is going to be a free transfer service between terminals every 15 minutes

Thanks dzug for the correction about the M25. This 441 bus looks like a really good solution. I've been searching on google for the location of the Heathrow Central bus station but can't find anything clear......:o
Sorry to be dense but where do I find the "journeyplanner" you mentioned is this in the Heathrow airport site?
Last question Is Terminal 1 far from the Heathrow Central bus station?
Thanks for the help:T“Having, first, gained all you can, and, secondly saved all you can, then give all you can"....John Wesley

The central bus station is in the middle of terminals 1 2 3 - an easy walk from any of them

is the journey planner - on the London Transport site, not the Heathrow one
or easier still:

The Travelodge is NOT the far side of the M25 - it's the Heathrow side of Jn 14.
To my mind its a silly place to build a hotel as there is no public transport there to speak of (Poyle only has 3 bus services, none of which go to Heathrow). The quickest public transport from Poyle to the Heathrow takes well over an hour with a couple of changes even though its so close! I can't even see anywhere if the Hotel Hoppa will serve this hotel
It may be that a taxi is your only way from this hotel to Heathrow, in which case to keep the cost down I'd take a taxi to T5 then take the HEX/tube which is free between the terminals to get to T1.0 -
Thought the best thing was to ring Travelodge and they said at present from Terminal 4 take stand 21 and H57 Hopper service. But the very helpful staff member said with Terminal 5 opening shortly and us not arriving untill late June we should call them then as things will be changing.
So thanks all for the info and help........:T“Having, first, gained all you can, and, secondly saved all you can, then give all you can"....John Wesley

Are you sure about this? The hotel is on Calder Way...this road is on the Poyle side of the M25, not the Heathrow side (in fact if you look on Google earth you can clearly see the hotel on the western side (ie. outside) of the M25). So I'm afraid to get the 411 bus you would have to walk along Calder Way, turn left into Horton Road, cross the roundabout at the M25 and along Airport Way until you get to a bus stop, its about a mile and I don't think there are any pavements.

Well I WAS sure but having looked at it more closely, I'm not any more. (Hadn't seen that Horton Road continues OVER the M25:mad: )
So sorry I've misled you grace2much. I'll delete my original offending post0 -
Not a problem, hey mistakes come naturally to me :rotfl:and I appreciated your willingness to do the best you could.“Having, first, gained all you can, and, secondly saved all you can, then give all you can"....John Wesley

Nice clean room , not as noisy as I expected even though I was on the M25 side of the Hotel, would use it againEx forum ambassador
