    thanks for all your replies. No, i never spoke to the retailer as i though the "6 years" referred to the manufacturer, not the retalier. It also broke 3 days before xmas so i was in a rush to get it sorted as we have 2 toddlers, one who was sick. They actually came out v quickly, xmas eve, but the wiring loom was not on his van so it didnt get fixed until Jan 2nd.

    Hmm, is it worth chasing or should i knock it on the head....:rolleyes:

    The retailer was a small company in Leicester
