1. Insert a non accepted SIM card into your phone
2. Switch your phone on
3. The phone will ask to "Enter Subsidy Password"
4. Enter the above unlock code and then press OK
5. Your phone is now unlocked

tried this but when i put in another simcard, it asks for a plup code and wont accept the code.

Sorry, the code is meant to be entered without a SIM card inserted. But could you please post a pic of your phone when it gives that message? I've never heard of a PLUP code.

Opps, just got told this..

The Codes for Siemens/Benq cell phones are taken from the official Siemens Database. The unlocking process absolutely corresponds to the one in the service center. For all handsets, except SX1, the code is entered without SIM-card as following: *#0003*XXXXXXXX#. XXXXXXXX is a mastercode for given phone serial number. For SX1 the code is entered with the SIM-card put inside and after the code entry the cell phone should restart itself. If before this full flash was written or microcircuit chip Flash IC was changed, than the code would not suit. So be attentive!

And special this part ... Codes will not suit for :
BenQ O2X1i, O2X1b, O2XLI, O2X2i, A38, P51, M100, M220,
M300, M305, M315, M350, E61, C71A, S88, EF51, EF61, EF81,
EF91, EL71, CF61, CL75, M580, AP75, SF65 and CFX65 !!!
You need SKey for these handsets.
