    I opted for the DVD version, but i was also able to download it too. Ordered the DVD 2 days ago and it arrived in the morning. I didn't use paypal though.

    Is there a limit to how many computers you can use the software cd?? for example i have a laptop and and a pc at home would i have to order two??

    You can have it installed at any one time on one pc AND/OR one laptop at most.
    You can only order one licence but it is sufficient for your requirements.

    As with others above me, had no problems ordering DVD version and was able to download a copy before the DVD arrived.

    So really you can have it on two computers. It's a bit silly if it tries to detect if the machine's a laptop or not. Does this version of Microsoft Office "call home"?

    I want to use it on my laptop and my sister's laptop.

    They don't have a way of detecting it, and they have said on the Microsoft Education Blog that they don't mind if you have it on two of the same type.

    Your too late though because the offer expired 2 days ago.

    I paid £47.90 to have Office 2007 delivered. Apparently it can take up to 10 days to receive it.

    I received and installed it on Wednesday 25th June 2008. :j
