Help Need To Find Good Mobile Contract
Options
My friend has asked me to try and find a good mobile contract for her daughter. Her daughter is currently 'paying a fortune' using a pay as you go phone. She uses it a lot because she doesn't have a landline. She uses both texts as well as making quite a few calls both during the day and eve.
I confess I don't know much about these things because I am on pay as you go to. Can any of you experts that follow these things point me in the right directions for good deals ?
Thanks

You didn't say how much 'a fortune' is... there are many tariffs, some you use your existing phone, and some are rolling contracts that don't tie you in for 6/12/18 months.
"Need more information"!
But yes, the 3 deal is pretty good - as is T-mobile's Flext at the moment which comes with free evening calls chucked in for the £35 tariff if she's a really heavy user. The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

I don't have details of how many calls she make or text she sends. Just that she spend between £10-20 a week I would guess more on talking then texting. She is with Tesco."The time is always right to do what is right"0

Is she on the right Tesco Tariff she could try this new one which gives 150 free x-net minutes or 500 texts a month if you top up by £15 a month ormore, and it gives cheaper calls and texts to 3 specific numbers.

Or if their with Virgin Media they offer a sim card only deal 300 minutes and 300 texts for £10.0 -
hi, couple of things to try - go to the provides she is already on as they may be more willing to offer a competitive rate for the previously held pay-as-you-go contract. also, as she probably texts a lot, she may want to look at 3 and t-mobile as they offer contracts which give an allowance to use between both texting and calls. finally, if she is willing to keep her phone, she may be able to get a better rate with most providers for a "sim only" deal - she'll hopefully be saving each month and so could always upgrade to another phone in a few months time and she'll still have saved over the whole contract...good luck!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
