    Well i thought i'd post a little more ....

I requested her contact details through ebay after i hadn't heard from her, so it sends an email with her details and my own. I now think she's phoning my home phone number, obviously from a withheld number... but it's at silly hours during the night, been going on for about 3 days now... I go down to answer the phone, get a few seconds of silence then they hang up.

I'm still awaiting information on my refund too!

I'm not very happy, it just seems so odd, that i've recieved these calls, and it's never happened before... I called up my phone provider, to advise them of the problem and they suggested reporting it to the police, getting a crime ref number and then having to change my phone number ... what a pain considering we've had this number for years!

Think i'll give it a few days see if it carries on, she might get bored ... or find someone else to harrass. Some people!!!!!!!

I don't know if it helps but we are with BT and do not accept calls from anyone ringing us from a withheld number (therefore you won't need to change your phone number).

Thanks for the info, going to call Virgin now and see if they offer this too! Would be grand if they did! :D
  • I think you should post her number on here. Think she deserves everthing that comes to her. Lets see if she likes it!! Good luck in your quest for a refund. I hope everything works out for you.

I'm hoping to at least hear from paypal in the next few days, so fingers crossed, i'll keep you all posted!!

As much as revenge is sweet, posting her number would only lower myself to her pathetic level! What goes around comes around and one day someone or something will bite her right in the bum!

PS Virgin have no set our line to not accept withheld numbers so all good on that front!:D

I'm gettting really fed up now, no sign of a refund yet, and paypal advise me that i'm in a queue ... how long this queue is i don't know!!!

It is so frustrating, theres over £100 of my money just sat somewhere, and i can't do much about it apart from have a moan on here.

I refuse to use ebay or paypal ever again ... i'm not feeling too good about this today.

Hope Jo is pleased with herself .... pretty good job she live's miles away!!!!!

Is your paypal account funded by your Credit Card ??

If so you can claim back through them..... ;)

I also would have thought this was your best bet. I always thought that Credit card companies have the clout to get your money back in situations like this.

dont wait, get in touch with your credit card company..... they will refund..... then they will do a reverse payment from paypal.... paypal will then be out of pocket..... then paypal will pull their finger out and chase after the person...
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)
