That's slightly wrong. The REGISTERED KEEPER is ASKED to inform the Police who was driving. The registered keeper doesn't have to respond but it leaves them wide open to prosecution. Also if you knew someone had committed a murder and didn't inform the Police, you can be charged with an offence the same way the people who knew about the London Bombers but said nothing.0 -
DiD quick check on my car insurance with and without the expected SP30 fine i will get...makes my insurance go up by £25..Okay not much but it will add up as its kept on license for 3 years.0

conor if you are the registered keeper and the driver you are required by law to confess, also even if you commit murder and you are informed upon you still have the right to remain silent i stand by my original post0
