I think some firms are running systems where they are not actually giving you a job but trying to get money out of you

If the job sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. :D

If a mystery shopping company offers you a £500 fee for an easy job then it may well be a scam. The clue may well be in the grammar & spelling in the email offering you the job and also in the fact that you haven't actually applied to that company for work.

No for me too. I notice they are a different timeframe so wonder if thats something to do with it and maybe they will be released soon. At least you can see what you fancy and save a search with those locations ready for when they are released.

Some TV Shop jobs on GFK. You have to ring to make an appointment to see the store manager so they're not mystery shops!

Also a couple of phone shops in my area on GFK as well.

Does anyone know if an email is sent when you get paid from GAP as I think I'm due a payment but don't know how to tell if if and what has been paid.

GAP are paying late this month. It should be paid either Wednesday or Thursday this week.
You will not get any notice that you have been paid. You will have to check yourself by your bank statement and your assignments page on their website. Payments for this month are for Feb assignments.

No, they don't send an email but it's unlikely you've been paid yet as no-one else has (my bank account makes it quite clear which payments are from them). They normally pay by 24th, but the payment this month was delayed due to Easter: another MSer has told us they say they did process the payment on 20th, so it should be in your bank account tomorrow I believe!

Sorry for going off track - in future I will be good and use this thread for alerts only! :o
