Looking for cheap but powerful vacuum cleaner for DIY mess

Options
the title says it all really! we have almost finished the refurb on our house and whilst i have swept up most of the mess there is still dust everywhere and i dont want to use my new dyson so was thinking of getting a cheapish one that we could use for all the building dust and also to attach to various power tools we have to collect the dust.

hope you can help.

thanks

Probably best to go hire one for the day. Try Speedy Hire

we got ours from b&q for £59, it is extremely powerful and can be used with or without a bag. can't seem to find it on their site now, can still get it instore though. Also has attachment for power tools. It is made for DIY and dust:cool:

    hope that helps

I was going to suggest hiring one myself.

You can get really good vacs that that are designed to collect very small dust particles, much better than the ordinary hoover. These are designed as an industrial hoover for the big clean up after a job.

Rates are reasonable for the weekend.
