Car Valeters water usage sewerage charge question?

in Water bills
Afternoon all,
Been checking out Martin's site for a while but here is my first post.
I have a mobile car valeting business so use a larger than normal amount of water.
I got my next years water bill through the post the other day and my sewerage charges are actually more than my water bill charges.
Having looked on this site it looks as though I may be entitled to a rebate of some kind as the percentage of my water usage does not go back down the drains and is instead used to wash cars.
I've just called Yorkshire Water but the dept I need to speak to is closed but I was told they would write to me within 14 days and let me know where I stand so.....
Should I write to them first explain my situation and are there any templates I could use to help this along?
Apologies if this has already been asked.
Many thanks in advance
Regards
Jonathan

If you can prove that more that 10% of your water does not return to the sewer you can get a rebate on sewerage charges.
Not clear how a mobile car valeting achieves that aim.
If you are mobile don't you use other peoples water?0 -
I have a 400lt tank in the van as a lot of the companies that I go to don't have a water tap to use.
I think I might have shot myself in the foot on this one as someone has just told me I might have to be put on a Commercial rate which is apparently a lot more expensive.....me and my big mouth trying to save some money. DOH0 -
The water you use for your business goes down a drain somewhere, just not your own.
