Can't access a web page ????

I can't access a web page on the ESPC site

http://www.espc.co.uk/ (property site for selling house in Edinburgh)

I can get to the hoome page, but as soon as I try and access anything on the left it does nothing, but something along the lines of

javascript:appendsessionid +++++++++++ etc etc

comes up.

Anyone any ideas on how to get around this ? Am I maybe blocking something with my security ?

Thanks in advance

Chippy_Minton is on the right tracks that you've got some security blocking the JavaScript.

Having to have session id appended by JavaScript seems to be a very poor method of avoiding cookies.

You should send an email to webmaster@espc.com and complain that you don't want to lesson your security just to browse their site!

Do you have any security products running?

The site works fine if you have a JavaScript enabled browser.

Works fine for me with JavaScript enabled and disabled in Firefox and IE.

Probably an AV product, or firewall related, or something like Peer Guardian if you use it.

i think my problem is similar and would appreciate any help/advice.
i am unable to access sites in which i have to log on. e.g. msn hotmail, ebay, internet banking, or if i wish to make a purchase i can never make it to the basket/payment page.
i cannot log on to msn explorer but can access it thru IE.
I have been thru all help topics, tried system restore but no luck.
i have changed antivirus from, avg to avast, but problem started a few days after this.
i also deleted aol. now i get window every time i switch on saying 'unable to locate aol companion xml file' . can i install aol without signig on to their service as i already have an isp.?
    Nice to save.

Depends on your version of NAV, but start with section on script blocking at http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/nav.nsf/docid/2001031614323606&src=n

Do as it recommends, i.e. enable script blocking but have it ask you what to do when it encounters a script.

My reply #9 was for OP.

I'm not clear from your description which browser you are using when you can't access those secure sites. Is it MSN Explorer or Internet Explorer?

What, if anything, is displayed on the web page when you try to access those sites?

What OS and browser version are you using?
