Just thought I'd give everyone an update....

When my Sky Talk Line Rental went live I dialled 150 and got through to Sky Customer Services.

Initially I wasn't very sure if this would be a chargeable call over the Sky network but i'm happy to report that its definately FREE OF CHARGE!!

I called Sky Customer Services to check my unbilled usage and there is no charges on my bill and 150 shows as (Nil)

18185 may work for now, but like others they are likely to block their access.

It's not really worth the 50p saving to then lose the chance of cheap call access.

To the OP, Sky have been offering this inclusive evening and weekend package for quite some time, must be at least a year or so, so no this isn't due to the new prices coming from BT. It has however only been the last few months or so they have offered line rental.

Never really wise moving line rental away from BT, calls yes, line rental no.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

Hi, As I have unlimited calls with sky talk I should have a very small bill!!!!
Due to the fact that I have a teenager:rolleyes: who calls mobile numbers and also uses callback, I'd like to know if there is anything I can do to stop her doing this. Other than hide the home phone:D . BT allow u to ban such numbers. I cant find anywhere on sky page to advise on this. Thanks AmberZ

I'd suggest a Commtel Phone Guard on each active phone socket.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
