PUK # for a nokia/virgin 3310 ?

My 5 yr old has been mucking about with my old virgin nokia 3310 . Now its asking for the PUK number . Any idea what this is and where I can find out ?
That exact same thing happened to me! Kids are priceless aren't they?
I rang the Nokia sorry - Vodaphone helpline - found it on their website I think and they talked me through sorting it.
Remember they said this happens all the time!!0 -
PUK code can only be provided by you provider (ie Virgin). It comes up when the PIN is entered wrong (3 times, I think).0

That's it - it was a while ago and aforementioned kids have scrambled what was left of my brain!!0
