    • Band/Artist's Name: Stone Gods
    • Music Style: Rock, Rock, Rock and Heavy Rock from an eight-legged rock monster
    • What style of music/who is it similar to?: A dazzling and diverse mixture of crunching heavy metal anthems, irresistible radio-rock and sumptuous, ballsy ballads; it’s a glorious celebration of everything that makes loud, blaring rock ‘n’ roll so reliably exhilarating.

    • Band/Artist's Name: Bleeding Hearts
    • Music Style: Political Folky Punky Rock
    • What style of music/who is it similar to?: They are a real mixture, you can't compare them directly to anyone. Some songs are along the lines of NMA or the Levellers, but with their own edge.
    • Website: www.bleedinghearts.co.uk or www.myspace.com/bleedingheartsonline
These are my current favourite, they play a wide range of stuff, all original, some folky, some rocky, some punky, some all 3 mixed together. :D There are some tracks on their myspace, but if you join the mailing list on their site you can download every track they've ever recorded for free.

Not only are they extremely good, but they are genuinely nice guys, who get involved in a lot of charity gigs. So far this year they've done a gig for CWU, and are in the middle of a mini tour supporting Action Aid's 'B*llocks to Poverty' campaign, and they have at least 3 more charity gigs lined up through the year.

Question: Is the guy at the back actually in the band or did he wander into shot from the filming of a re-make of a Thomas Hardy type period drama?

Such a range of music you are bound to find at least one track that you will be bowled over by.
