i got a architect to do plans for my conservatory he was between £250-£450,so that sounds very expensive
Live in my shoes for a week, then tell me your lifes hard!
  • I'm in the middle of a big extension (walls are up to first floor windows)
Two storey side, and part rear on steels, single storey main rear, new conservatory, loft conversion and garage workshop.

Workshop came in at £750 per square metre
    Conservatory ditto
House is running at £1500 per metre - all up fees, planning, building, you name it.
Loft will be £1000 per metre

I live in Hampshire and am paying each of my subbies directly as they as individuals are not VAT registered..... saves quite a bit.
    Counting the beans : £1
Knowing which beans to count : £99
