Does anyone have any experience of getting alloy wheels refurbished in NI?
I have used Lester engineering in Lisburn before and just thought I should check out other options.
Anyone had anything done recently to give me an idea on cost? (It was many years ago I got mine done)
Cheers, Des.

Plenty ...
Like you, I too have used Lester & was very please. I then used Nu-Luk in Carrickfergus who did a super job & stood over the warranty when 1 started to corrode.
This time around however, I used a local guy in Bangor (Stevie 9147 1007) who was exactly 1/3 the price of Nu-Luk who wanted £150+Vat to refurb my 2 piece split rims.
Stevie done a great job & also being a body worker, he can create custom colours & finishes etc...
Tell him Scott sent ya

I spoke to my brother who works for performance alloys, he says that Nu Luk is the only place that they recommend to use for refurbs.

Any recommendations?0

Nu-Luk in Carrick - pricey but very good
Lester Engineering in Lisburn - not as hard to pay but still very good
Bangor Auto Valet in Bangor - more cosmetic repairs but very affordable
For what it's worth, I've used them all over the years.0 -
Miko, ball park figure they quote for just a repaint per wheel? How long do they take etc?
Cheers, P0
