Has anyone used these guys before?

These guys are just round the corner ffrom my work and all the sales guys here, who happen to drive BMWs, have had their wheels repaired there without any issue.
Whether there's a correlation between BMW drivers, sales guys and parking ability is a different question entirely!Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0 -
I know you have already damaged your alloys, as have I in the past, but I came on this website recently, and thought the product looked like a very good idea. Don't know anyone who has used it, but you could still use it after your repair and hopefully protect your wheels from future damage. By the way I have no connection whatsoever with this company.

Is it 'Lister' engineering? I thought it was 'Lester'! Silly me!
Nu-Luk were always expensive but I have heard some poor reports lately so would advise caution.Always overestimating...0 -

Hmmm - I wonder if they made them in silver could I fit them to hubby's car without him noticing. He always wrecks alloys, but claims it must of been me when I've been driving his car!
Funny how when you look at my car there is never a mark on my alloys! :rotfl:

How do they repair it?
It's really a scuff type of scrape where the wheel was scaped against a kerb when the OH was turning in the road.
Would it not be tricky to repair where it is i.e. on the very edge of the alloy right against the tyre?Norn Iron Club Member 3300 -
As I understand it, it is generally best to get the whole wheel refurbished to ensure that the color matches etc. It is probably almost as easy for them to do that as to try and do a small fix. Either way, they will take the tyre off so it will not get in their way.Always overestimating...0

I really have no idea about what they do to repair it. The wheel, and the car, are only 3 weeks old so I'm a bit way of getting the whole wheel done in case it might make it too different from the others or invalidate our warranty. The alloys are standard 16" ones that came with the car.Norn Iron Club Member 3300 -
There would be no issue whatsoever with the warranty and there should be no issue getting the match good enough such that you wont notice a difference compared to the other wheels. It really depends how bad you mark is... give them a call and they may well you that im talking nonsenseAlways overestimating...0

We've bought a 2nd hand car but I get the feeling the previous owner had no spacial awareness as the alloys are all scuffed up. I asked in our local garage and was recommended a place called 'Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists' based on the Carrowreagh Road in Dundonald. I've had a look at their website and although they seem to do a lot of good work and it could be done in a day, there's no guidelines for pricing.
Has anyone on here used them or anyone else they could recommend and any rough indication of prices? The wheels are 16" if that helps.0
