British Gas payed me to saty with them

I went through a uswitch (i think) to change gas and electric, started the process and have just received a phone call from British gas saying they would give me £25 toward elec if I stayed with them.
They said I would only be £10 a year better off by switching and that there accounts weren't on uswitch. I fell for it have have gone back to them...prob stupid but we all do things like that. I have now had a letter from them that doesnt mention the £25 so I am not sure if I will get this.
Has anyone else experienced this and should I have stuck to my guns and stayed switched?
Secondly can I switch every day and confuse the hell out of all of them? :rotfl:
