I rarely open the rubbish with MY name on it so if it's got YOUR name on it you don't stand a chance of ever seeing it.

If it was a magazine I thought I might enjoy reading then it's me and the loo for an hour, alone!

    Car Insurance Carver!
I had magazines for the son of the previous owner, pornographic!!
Advised sender but kept getting them so informed local bobby, stopped then!
About missing post-my post kept going missing then 1 morning I caught the paper boy stuffing letters and a parcel (left in the porch) under his coat!!
Informed newsagent but wouldn`t do anything as the papers would not get delivered! Charming. So..........mystery solved. Lost customer.
    Post DOES go missing still.

No offence meant here so please don't be taking this the wrong way but who leaves a porch door unlocked if there are things of value in it? Also, is there only one paperboy where you live? Not picking on you for the last one but its a rather feeble excuse to come up with for a newsagent.

Depends what sort of porch / door / letterbox arrangement you've got.
In our house we have a "storm porch", which is always unlocked, with our doorbell and letterbox on the front door inside the storm porch.

We had a problem a while ago with the postman leaving parcels and letters in the porch. So at that point we had a porch door unlocked with things of value in it - we just didn't know there were things of value in it because the postie didn't knock.
Nothing, that we know of, went missing, but it could have done. We complained to the post office and it doesn't happen now.
