And it's down - a new personal record of only taking two hours! Whoo hoo!0

And now they're at dinicomputer.com - avoid if you don't want to be scammed.
And here's the home page to avoid:0 -
I was incautious enough to try and buy a camera at Dinicomputer before I saw this thread. I think they may be trying a different approach because the only payment option I had was Paypal, so I thought it was pretty safe. Nothing happened when I tried to checkout.
But.... they now have my name, address, email and a password. I bet 10-50% of users (could be more) will use the same email they use at Paypal, and the same password. Luckily I used different ones. I'm not too keen on them having my address and stuff as they could be profiling me as we speak.
Incidentally, is there a way to alert Google? The Google shopping pages (Froogle?) still list dozens of dini products.0 -
You're lucky - usually PayPal has been warned and cancels the account, so people end up paying by Western Union or some other direct money transfer, and have no recourse.
I do try with Google, but it takes an age - each time I find a site, I report it to the Federal Trade Commission and the Internet Crime Complaint Center, in the hope that someone's building up a profile in order to take action against them.
I also inform the hosting company. Usually the host takes the web site down when I tell them, but there was no response following my email to warn Hostway of the scam site on 17 April. I've just emailed them again - I guess some hosts are more responsible than others and care more about being paid with stolen credit cards...0 -
They went quiet for a while, but they're now at http://www.vilmall.com so this should be avoided if you want to keep your money.0

A new flurry of activity - the scammers are now operating under the name BL Electronics at blelectronics.com. Home page is below.0

The company hosting VilMall, and now BL Electronics - Hostway.com - has not either responded or taken action against these sites. Anyone else who would like to discuss this with them, please feel free, especially if you're based in the US and can use the free number 1-866-467-89290
