Quick basic question on ISA's

I'm looking at setting up a new ISA.
I've been browsing the site and have followed a few links to external sites.
I came across this one (http://www.alliance-leicester.co.uk/savings/index.asp?page=direct-isa&ct=savingshome) with Alliance and Leicester which says it pays 6.25% which seems better than anything else I've found. In fact most of the other banks seem to be offering around 5% to 6%.
Am I missing something or is the A & L ISA genuinely a good offer?
thanks in advanced!

Yes it's pretty good, you wont get much better on a variable at present, see link for options just depends on if you want instant access etc

If u dont have 9000.00 in ISA Money to go into Lloyds 6.5% One Year Fix, then Nationwide BS are still offering 6.15% on One and Two Year ISA Fix Options.

Most people are expecting further Base Rate/Variable Savings Rate decreases this year.

Barclays offering 6.5% (with 1% 1 yr bonus inc.).
Also this is a good read:
