Can i sell old copies of windows (98 & 95) on ebay?

OEM software is only distributed when sold with specified accompanying hardware. When these programs are copied and/or sold separately from the hardware, it is a violation of the license with the software publisher, and therefore illegal.

So they must be sold with computer hardware, i.e a drive or hard disk

i sold a complete win98se pack (new) last year on ebay and got 15 quid for it.

It's possibly not worth risking it, but my OH works in audio and still uses a PC with 98 on it - apparently it's the most stable platform for a lot of audio applications and is still used by a lot of audio/music people. I don't know if there are any specialist places thorough which you could sell it, but it might be worth looking.
