Tried to list a bunch of items today as one day listings and ebay would not let me.

I have used ebay for over 5 years with a feedback score over 2000 and always pay my fees on time, yet they still think I am going to commit some kind of fraud.

Insisted that I had to use paypal only. I Hate Paypal.

There are a number of categories that require the seller to offer paypal, they have been gradually bringing in these rules in different categories for about 18 months.

People just don't appreciate the rare and collectable nature (cough) of some of my items. To me this really just proves that free listing is not the way to go..have you seen how much rubbish is actually being uploaded today :eek:

For anyone hesitating..there are buyers out there. I have two items with bids within 30 minutes of being uploaded and at least 8 others with watchers.

I've also added three items to my own watch list as a buyer.

I've now had more bids and more watchers..so fingers crossed.

Although I have picked up an annoying potential bidder..I have a collection only item and I got the 'how much to post?' question. I explained it was heavy and difficult to pack and said that just as an example it would cost around £26 via the Post office which was silly due to the value of the item.

She has come back with.'I use xx parcels on ebay and can have it collected easily for less than £7. Can you please confirm its alright for me to send a courier to collect it if I win, I'll bid later this afternoon'.

So, buyer expects me to wait in all day for her courier..and I assume have it packed securely..I don't think so. I did draft a reply to say that I am never here all day so can't use a courier who collects 'all day'..but then I thought why should I explain details of my working life to her, I think I'll just say no it will not be convenient, and see what happens. Frankly for 99p I'd rather take it to a charity shop.

Just a warning for anyone holding off uploading their items on Turbo lister. I have been successfully uploading all weekend but have just started to hit server problems with TL not being able to upload , or uploading very alowly. Don't leave it until th elast minute in case there are problems..
