What happened to the 10p listing days? One of those havent been around for a while...
The listings have been reduced anyway (fvf are up though), so they're likely to be less frequent, not really sure why anyone is getting excited by this offer. Even listing in 2 categories you have to put a lot of listings up to show any benefit..0 -
Odd that there's a Free Listing weekend shortly after the boycott that had no effect !0

Suppose it'll be all right for a 99p sale with £9.99p post and packing. . .
Like an earlier poster, I can't see what the fuss is about. Save 5p per listing? Yeah. Right. Let's everyone rush on out there -- into a market place suddenly crowded with so much other junk being listed for 99p there's actually less chance, not more, of getting rid.0 -
I'm just bumping this as other boards have mentioned this promotion and I thought it might be useful to keep this thread on the first page.
Maybe if anyone has tips for making the best use of this we could post them here..
One tip, list some items at 1 minute past midnight today for a mix of 7 and 10 days as those items might get picked up by late night browsers and maybe get ahead of the game and ahead of listings that aren't posted until later when the system will get completely clogged up.
Be prepared for complete meltdown especially on day 10 in the evenings of both day 10s...most people use 10 day listings on these days and mid evening times and very often the system just can't cope.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just bumping again.
Also another tip..if you have lots reay to upload on Turbolister then make sure you do a back up. The last few cheap days we have had threads with people reporting problems with Turbo lister, possibly the amount of people trying to connect to Ebay or something, I;m not sure. Anyway, in case of any data loss..just go and do a back up now.
Log into your Turbo lister and click 'file' on top left hand. Then from there choose 'back up' and bob's your uncle.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Just bumping yet again.
There have been a couple of reports on the ebay board that people have been charged..but suggestions are they have listed as BIN's or in ineligible categories. Has anyone actually listed anything yet and if so does it show when you list that the basic insertion is free?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
