That's a fair shout about the heavy users. I take the same people week in week out to the health centre. To be fair a lot of them are genuinely ill. I think some just treat it as a day out. They wouldn't be there half as much if it wasn't free.£2 coin/ £460

It's the problem with living in a deprived area with an extremely high number of elderly people.

Still no news on the bed. The surgeon is just clearing his minor ops and is hoping that by the time he has finished there will be bed so he can crack on with MIL. Think we're in for a long day of waiting
It's torture for us so I can only begin to imagine how awful it must be for her waiting. We just hope she doesn't have to come home because then she has to go through all this again with the last goodbye and if i never wake up ..... speeches

Mr S - sometimes they have emergencies in overnight or patients they thought could be transfered out take a turn for the worse - I know that doesn't help your MIL but having worked in the health system I know how hard it is from that side as well
