Some threads are very short with a recipe in the first post. Others, true, are longer, but they have more than one recipe in them, though usually a recipe will appear in the first couple or three posts, (and often other handy tips). Threads listed under things like "vegetables" or "fruit" have loads of different ideas on how to use up a given ingredient. So you get plenty of choice.
If you want "Single Recipes Only" see the link to the Indexed recipe collection near the top of the 2nd post. -> The Old Style Recipe Collection
I'm sorry you're not keen - but to individually index all the recipes in all the threads would be an absolute mammoth task since, for a guess, there are well over 50,000 of them.
Picking recipe threads alone out of the 17,000 threads we have on the board is going to keep rosieben busy for a lo-o-ong timeHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. I would like to nominate Toniq's Virgin Big Snap thread for post of the month.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=763963
Toniq has posted a great comp, there lots of mse winners over £17,000 (even me!) and is always around on the thread to help and advise people.
This has been a great if addictive introduction to comping and has got me addicted to MSE after being a member for years and not really bothering to post much.My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -

Not only for finding, but in looking after the thread (just keeping up is almost a full time job). Answering the same questions over and over again with good humour. Plus for keeping everyone's spirits up and encouraging a good atmosphere.0 -
